BEACHBODY COACH- WHAT MAKES ME SUCCESSFUL?

Today is such an amazing day! It is so nice to just sit back and reflect on WHY I am doing what I am doing.  There are many times when my husband asks me, "Why did you quit your full time Nursing career that you spent all that money on school for and time to be a Beachbody coach?"  My answer has been getting easier and easier to answer!

As a nurse, I do feel a sense of accomplishment when I am helping people when they are ill.  As an ER nurse, I interact with tons of people, but its a different feeling.  After having my second child and going to school taking my masters classes to get my school nurse certification, I started my fitness journey with Beachbody and fell in love! I was getting daily support and accountability from my coach in my challenge group, along with tips, recipes, and motivation that I needed to keep going every day! I know for a fact, if I was not in my challenge group, I would've given up a long time ago. But it was different.  Having 24/7 support for 60 days is what helped me get into the lifestyle, get over my fears of failing, and got me to my ultimate health and fitness goals! I lost 40 pounds with INSANITY, P90X, TURBO FIRE (high impact cardio dancing), 21 DAY ULTIMATE RESET and drinking SHAKEOLOGY on a daily basis in place of my breakfast or last meal (helped my sweet cravings for ice cream).

As a Beachbody coach, I have met such inspirational people who have helped me with my goals and be a better mother, nurse, and coach!

These programs and Shakeology have changed my life.  I had 2 babies, a newborn and 1 yr old and running back and forth to the gym was not an option for me.  Also, being a nurse and working 12 hour shifts just was a better reason to not spend anymore time driving back and forth.  What I found worked for me as a busy mom and nurse was waking up 45 minutes earlier and getting my 30 minute workout in and right away I was gaining energy I never thought I would have again!

My confidence built, I loved having the motivation, and wanted to share this amazing opportunity with others! I mean, its only fair right?! So I decided to become a BEACHBODY COACH and help others, while still on my own journey! I was living the healthy lifestyle, though not at my goal, but it helped me to understand what my challengers were going through! I was able to relate to them in many ways!







As I started running my own CHALLENGE GROUPS, I found my challengers feeling the same way I did and having amazing transformations! These challenge groups were like a god send! I couldn't believe how this is changing lives! Having my challengers message me and say "Thank You for changing my life" or "Thank you for reaching out to me, now I am in the smallest pants I ever had", or "Thank you for believing in me, now my entire family is healthier because you didn't quit on me".... this is what its all about! This is what I was put on this earth to do!

Today was a huge day for not only me, but one of my challengers who is now a Coach after realizing as a nurse and mother, she wanted to help end the trend with me! Erin received a call today that she had won the Beachbody challenge $500! This was all because she wanted to be healthy for herself and her family!

Erin started her journey with me in April and when she came to me for help, I was so excited to help her because I felt her pain and lack of confidence and self-esteem just talking to her. 
This girl could've made any excuse not to do this... working 12 hour shifts as a nurse, having 2 young children, and "just not having time". She made no excuses because her WHY is strong enough. To be a great role model for her kids and just be confident in her own skin! Being in our challenge group/support group is what kept her going strong. It gave her the accountability and tools she needed for a healthy lifestyle! 

I know you may think its crazy for companies to give such rewards to people, but that is WHY I am a coach for this company! We are not about diets, we are about changing lives! 
Erin has changed my life alone and has inspired me so much! you give so many people hope that its possible, no matter where you are in your life!

No I am not a nutritionist, personal trainer (although I use to be), or expert, but I do know how to live a healthy lifestyle and I know what people need to succeed... No diet pills, no weight loss surgery, just a little support, motivation, accountability, clean eating, exercise, and mostly, someone who believes in them to be there for them at any given time! That would be ME! This is what I do!

BEACHBODY SUMMIT 2014- Vegas

BEACHBODY SUMMIT IN VEGAS!

Who ever thought a training for work could be so much fun?! This tells you right here, us Beachbody coaches have so much to be thankful for!  We are seriously treated like gold!! I cannot remember the last time my nursing job was so appreciative of their workers, so this was taken to a new level!!

Summit was at Vegas this year and was from Thursday to Sunday.  I went Tuesday to have a little relaxing and shopping before all the good stuff started!!

Wednesday was our first big day! We had an Elite celebration and I was in awe when I got to the reception/cocktail party! We had first chance to purchase from the CORE which is the store with all the Beachbody swag!! I was able to bring a guest with me, so I chose my cousin Michael, who was my very first diamond! This was seriously the most memorable night for me... I remember walking in and seeing that star with my name on it, and then Tony Horton was standing right there!! I was handed a gift and asked to sign my star! Nothing like feeling like a celebrity for a day right?!?  It was so nice to get pictures with everyone and just meet people you see all the time on Facebook, but never have the opportunity to talk face to face!

Thursday, I took a leap of faith and put myself in a Beachbody Classic Bikini Competition!! As scary as it was, I know I need the experience since I am prepping for a FIGURE NPC show in Oct and I need to learn some posing! 

Although I didn't make it to top 20, I learned a lot and had so much fun!! Its not about winning, its about being better than you were yesterday!! I am 18 weeks out from my show and I am confident, this is going to help me with my experience!!! I am showing my progress from losing 40 lbs and 40 inches since having my second child and going through my Beachbody transformation!! I have done this ALL just by home DVD programs and drinking Shakeology!! GO ME!!!!

It didn't matter how busy we were, this girl was with me to work out and run around Vegas like crazy people!!  We ran for 45 min up and down steps, in and out of crowds, and this was the best workout I had outside!!!! So much fun!!

Thursday night was our Studs and sequin party by the pool!! It was a great night and was able to spend lots of time with my coaches and friends!

 Friday I had an opportunity to meet all the celebrity trainers with Beachbody who have made such a huge impact on not only my life, but my family and friends as well! It was so awesome to have time to actually see how they are in person! PS. They are just the same as they are in their videos!! ;)

 One of my favorite sessions at summit was Daren Hardy, writer of Compound Effect which was my first Personal Development book I ever read! How awesome it was to actually see him in person!!
He actually was even more impressive than in his book and his book is amazing!!
He talks about failure and how you cannot let failure be a characteristic of who you are... Failure happens to everyone, even the most successful people! His childhood was full of failures, but that was only a perfect way to create who he is today- a successful person!  Turning failure into fun is how you over come your obstacles and weaknesses and turn them into strengths that one day you can look back and say "I DID IT" and "IM STRONGER BECAUSE OF THAT!"

Friday afternoon, I had the opportunity to share my PiYo results and transformation with beach body by having an interview and photo shoot to possible be in an infomercial for PiYo workout! How awesome would it be to see myself on TV?!?! AHHH!!!

Friday evening was our Star Diamond reception.  I actually had a contest for my coaches for whoever earned the most success club points in a two week period would earn a date with me to the party! My coach Michael won! It was so awesome walking into Chalene calling us over for a pic!

 Saturday was another general session for all the coaches! We had lots of recognition and people on stage talking about their success as a coach and their stories behind their journey! It was so inspiring and really makes you think that anything is possible if you want something bad enough!
 Saturday morning, I was on stage for the first time in front of over 9,000 people to be recognized as an Elite coach! This is seriously an amazing feeling!! Hard work truly pays off!!

One of the best perks of being Elite was having my own seats saved for me with my name on it! Each general session, I was able to have a guest to enjoy VIP seating! I was able to take turns with my coaches who came with me!

This Summit experience was something that will stick with me forever!! Not only having my own team there was so special to me, but just seeing all the success and knowledge that was provided to me to help my business was so fulfilling! I am so thrilled to now utilize what was given to me into our coach basics trainings, and challenge groups to help my customers get the most of their journey so everyone can be successful at their goals!!
Its time to bring it up a notch and really expand our success to everyone, everywhere!!
