Dream Team Elite Retreat- Chasing Your Dreams!

I am totally blown away by this weekend... As a part of the #1 team, Dream Team, we took a weekend retreat to do some serious brainstorming, motivating, and discussing some serious goals with each other! This was exactly what I needed for not only my business, but for personal development!

30 Beach body coaches from the Dream Team got together, along with LeeAnne Ruff (with corporate training) and we had sessions every day to help us improve our business,  our growth, and our leadership! That is exactly what happened! I feel like I came out of this house a different person! What was even more special, was having my own coaches to be a part of this whole getaway! So we can all come back and share the knowledge with our team who was not able to attend!

As we had our group sessions, coaches were learning so many different styles of coaching, different ways to approach situations, and different ways to take on that leadership role! What was so great about this, was everyone was so open to help each other and give advice to improve our weaknesses, but also show our strengths!

Some of the areas we focused on during the retreat were building relationships, time management, leadership, setting goals and deadlines, and having a vision and WHY for our career! 

We did a test to figure out which personality you are based on color codes.... This was one area that was really interesting because I am learning different personality types, along with learning to communicate effectively with each type! This is a huge deal when it comes to building relationships with your customers and coaches on your team!

When it comes to time management, having a set schedule is so important because we are busy people, and we don't have forever to get things done! We are moms, dads, nurses, teachers, coaches, and more, and it is important to separate those jobs so each can have value.  

Leadership is so important when you are growing a business.  For me, I want to duplicate myself... I know what I am doing as a Beachbody coach is something amazing.. I am helping hundreds of people live healthier lifestyles, ending the trend of obesity, but also helping people with financial freedom and be able to provide for their families.  To be able to achieve this, I need to provide my team with the training and tools, so they can utilize them and grow into leaders themselves!

Setting goals and putting a deadline is so important to me.  If you do not set goals and deadlines, how are you ever going to achieve anything and have a sense of accomplishment? There has to be importance to what you do in life.  There has to be motivation to get you from point A to point B.  My team is about setting goals, putting a date on it, and we take action to reach those goals!

Lastly, having a vision and WHY for what I am doing makes it so much easier for me to wake up every morning and happily go to work! I know my vision and WHY are important to me so if I can step back every so often and keep in mind my reason for taking the path I chose and realize God put me here for a reason, I can confidently move on in my business knowing this is my destiny! You have to believe in yourself and believe in your dreams and passion! Do not let them go because you have a fear of failure or fear of the unknown.... This is something we all have because we are human.  But the most successful people overcome their fears by taking action!

There are so many things I am thankful for that I would not have without joining Beachbody as a fitness coach!  I am so blessed to have the opportunity I do to stay home with my boys, watch them grow, not miss their sports events, be home for holidays, not worry about taking off for vacations, and still provide for my family financially!
